Making Room for Baby

Well since we only have less than 3 months until the baby comes we decided we better start making room for him! We figured it would be best to move our office into the guestroom (sorry if you come to stay you will have to share a room with the office...I know, we already need a bigger house!). So we took all day Saturday and moved the office into the guest room (it was probably only a half day job but poor Ryan had to pretty much lift and move everything). After getting everything in the guestroom, we realized...oh no... it won't all fit!

Good thing we were able to come up with a plan. Ryan LOVES to read and has always wanted a library. We don't have room for a library (nor does he have enough books) but we do have this landing area at the top of the stairs that we never knew what to do with. So we took the bookshelf and chair out from the guestroom/office and created a little study where Ryan can sit and enjoy his books! He loves it and it looks really nice.

Now everything is out of the babys' room and ready to be baby-fied...ooohh I am so excited!


A few weeks ago we went and bought his crib. Also, we recently took trips to my house and Ryan's house and we cleaned out my sister Amy and Ryan's sister Stephanie of their baby stuff. Thank you guys so much!













I am most excited about doing the painting, the curtains, and the bedding. We will post perodic pictures of the baby's room as things come along! We can't wait, each day it seems more and more real!
