Where do i start? We can start by saying i left the house a total of 4 times in the last 4 weeks, and 2 of the times were for a Dr apt. I am feeling like a hermit, or a vampire. Probably more like a vampire because when I left the house those 4 times I could hardly open my eyes because they weren't use to seeing the sun, and because we are awake most of the night as a vampire would be. Poor Benson. I don't know why he cries all. day. long! We have gone through all the formulas and have had some success with Nutramigen (same formula Connor was on). He is also on reflux medicine. Today we visited with a GI specialist, who suggested Nutramigen AA which i don't know what the difference is (all i know is that the AA is $58 for a 14 oz can!!!!). Our kids are going to bankrupt us! He also upped his dosage of zantac. So we will see. He has had a couple good days so maybe we are starting to make some progress. All i know is we would really like some sleep, and a happy baby. Benson is weighing in at 7 lb 11oz these days. Still tiny considering he is 4 weeks old. Most babies are 7 lbs at birth. We just have a little guy on our hands.
The kids are doing pretty good with the adjustment. They don't seem to be too bothered by all the crying Benson does, or that i do as a matter of fact. Little miss Sadie is maybe a tiny bit more clingy, and some times I have to ask Connor to do things a few extra times. But it's to be expected. Hopefully we start to get our barrings a little more around here soon.
I haven't taken any pictures; not too many good photo ops lately but, we are trying.

When Denise was here the kids made molds of their hands and feet.
You always hear about how soothing a vacuum cleaner is to a baby. Out of desperation we gave it a try. It worked. SO, Ryan turned on the vacuum and made a 30 min recording of the sound on his iphone so that we wouldn't burn up our vacuum trying to keep Benson quiet. We stick Ry's phone right by Benson's head and turn on the recording. We got 2 hours of peace :).
Sadie took a tumble head first off the side of our couch. Ouch.
Connor went to circus camp.
We went to the Aliante Station to see the fireworks on the 4th of July. Afterwards we went over to the Walker's for fireworks and s'mores! So fun to get out of the house!

I'm sorry to hear he's crying all the time. Trying to find a formula is so hard. I went through the same thing with Savannah. We did it all, including the Nutramigen (sp?). We ended up doing Soy and it was a miracle! She was so much happier! Plus we gave her lots of Gripe Water which really helped. Poor guy! Hope you find out what's wrong with him and hope you get some sleep!!
When we weaned the twins to formula NOTHING worked it was brutal but we finally got elecare. Its a prescription formula that you get through a homecare place (we had IHC) and your insurance should pay for it. It was a pain and we had to fight the denial but with a doctors note its usually covered. It was a huge blessing for us!
What a beautiful family!!! Your picture at the fireworks is so good. Connor is so handsome!!! Glad you got to get out and have some fun. Did Sadie like the fireworks? Hopefully you are getting this little guy figured out. Keeping our fingers crossed. Did Sadie get a rug burn on her head? I can't believe how much Connor and Benson look like each other!!! That pose in the first photo is scary. They sure do look like brothers!!!! Hang in there....Love you all tons!!!!
So...how many more you guys want? :) Everyone we know wanted like 6 or 7 and have gone down to 3 or 2. LOL...(kinda scares us)
Have you guys tried a floor fan? We used (and still to this day use one) and also maybe try the bathroom fan?
