A few minor renovations

Space is getting tight in the house - kinda. We just decided we need to maximize what we have to make it functional for us. The 1st on the list to go was the formal dining room. We used it 2x's in 5 years. And halfway through both dinners we ended up back in the kitchen. Our friend Jared built the wall for us in 3 hours. The next week he sent his guys to tape and texture. 5 hours total- bata bing, bata bang we've got ourselves a wall. So the old formal dining will be Ryan's office. The loft has moonlighted as the office/playroom. The loft will be the toy/tv room.

Next to go was the downstairs carpet. It needed to go soooo badly!

Next step, replace the family room carpet.

We also finally painted and put our room, and bathroom together. It feels so calm and tranquil now.

And the kids have been putting up with countless trips to lowes, homedepot and a zillion flooring stores. I even think Sadie commented to aunt Stephanie about how she liked Stephanie's "pretty flooring" in her new Mountain Green, Ut house.

Not everything is done. It probably will never be "done" but we are close. When we "finish" ;), I'll post pictures.
