Christmas Morning

This year we spent Christmas in California. My sister Stacey flew home from SLC, and Josh & Amy live just ten minutes from my parents. My little sister Ashley and hubby Allen spent the holidays in Oregon with his parents. We missed them a lot. Hopefully next year we will be able to spend a holiday together with everyone plus Al & Ash's new little baby they will have.

Santa brought Connor an art easel. He loves to put the magnetic letters on the board and name them. He's becoming such a little smartie pants lately.

Connor loves Mickey Mouse! It's probably because we have been to Disneyland a few times with him and because we talk about it all the time! We made the mistake of letting Connor open this present first. He played with it for two hours non stop. We could even entice him to open another present.

My nephew Dallin loves Cars. He sat and played with his car track forever.

My sweet little nieces are the ultimate girlie, girls. They love barbies, and princesses, and dress up, they are just so cute.

That's my dad playing Santa's voice. Anytime Kaylee, Dallin, Alyssa or Connor was being naughty in December we'd call Santa on the phone and he'd tell them to be good or they were going on the naughty list. It really worked.

This video cracks me up. My dad had just gotten done playing Santa's voice and then we let Connor go in to see his presents. Well he was pretty confused when he didn't see Santa and then that there was a blazing hot fire in the fireplace. The poor little guy was looking for Santa in the fireplace.

Loved his little voice when he was talking to Santa. How cute is that!!! Way to go Santa!!! That easel is so cute with the magnetic board on one side and the chalkboard on the other. I bet he will love that. Looks like you all had a great Christmas. Hopefully we can all work it out for next year :). The bowling photo of Ryan and Connor's butt shot is priceless. Also as soon as we saw Ryan STANDING on the slide, dad and I both said at the same time..."Doesn't surprise me" and we knew he would have to try something else beside just going down on his butt!! So tyical Ryan (and Justin). Adam would be the same way too. Oh, my boys!!! Glad you were able to spend time with the family and hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we know you did, but we missed you. Love you all. Mom

Hahaha....I had to do the same thing for Brendyn as Santa several times. Though it was inconvenient at times since sometimes I was at my office and had to run out of there really fast to do it. LOL:)
Connor is a smart little guy! He knew Santa was just in there and he's either really fast or hiding or something:) I love it.

I love Christmas morning! I laughed when Connor was looking at the fireplace thinking... how does that work out? What a cutie. He is so smart with his numbers! I am impressed. He needs to teach Jack. He has the alphabet down, but we are struggling with numbers!
