Blessed

We blessed Sadie this weekend! Ryan's parents and my parents both made a trip out for the weekend to be a part of the blessing. Saturday morning was our ward Easter party at the park. The day started out pretty cold but the weather was decent.

That afternoon we headed out to see the new bridge at Hoover Dam. The weather turned bitter cold and we were all freezing. But the view was worth it! Saturday evening we went to Smash Burger and then just hung out.

The view from the new bridge is crazy, it's so high! It's been fun to watch them build the bridge over the last few years.

Sadie Jewel Heaton's Blessing

It was a pretty spring day, perfect for a baby blessing. But there was a little breeze in the air and Sadie thought she couldn't breath and cried the whole time we tried to take pictures. As you can see Connor wasn't up for pictures as well. So we got what we could and hurried to the car.

My mom's good friend Kaye made this blessing dress for my little sister Ashley when she was blessed 25 years ago. Since, my nieces Kaylee and Alyssa have been blessed in this dress as well.

Connor is a sweet older brother. He loves to check on Sadie all the time. And he loves to shhhssh her when she is crying. He will definitely be the protective older brother.
