HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED....

-Have you ever noticed that you can get your baby to stop crying when you stand up and rock or bounce them but as soon as you sit back down they scream again? How do they know that you sat back down? You can be as careful and as quite as possible and continue the same motion as when you were standing, but they still know, ugh!

-Also, have you ever had a baby sleeping in your arms that will sleep through anything and everything and never wake up, until you try and lay them down? How do they know these things??? Just a few of life's unanswered questions! Luckily, Connor has been less fussy and sleeping much better the last 5 or 6 days; we are keeping our fingers crossed. Connor sleeps so good at night in his bed, but during the day he doesn't want to take a nap unless he is in someone's arms....until today!!!!! Hooray! He took a 3 hour nap in is bed, and we actually had to wake him up at 6pm in fear of him sleeping too late into the evening and not wanting to sleep tonight. When we went to wake him up he looked so peaceful and so cute that we had to take some pictures....

stephanie, he is so cute! and yes! the same thing happened to me with Evie. She did that for about 3 months. She slept great at night, but I had to either bounce with her or rock with her for her to sleep i the day and the second I layed her down she opened her eyes and wanted to be held. But eventually (about 4 months) when she moved out of our bedroom I would just lay her down and she had to learn to put herself to sleep. she is now the best sleeper ever! good luck!

He looks VERY cute sleeping! I love pictures of sleeping babies! OH! And let me suggest something that has been LIFE changing for us with Boston. Go to Barnes and Nobles and read the book "Babywise." It teaches you how to get your baby to fall asleep on HIS own in HIS bed and also how to get him to sleep through the night! It was FABULOUS for us and they also say that it really helps prevent/stop colicy babies! It's not easy but if you hold out for about 2 weeks you will NEVER regret doing it! Boston is the BEST sleeper ever and I seriously owe it all to that!
