In an effort to save what was left of the summer months we booked a room at the Tahiti Village mainly for the pools. The Tahiti Village is a timeshare property, but if they aren't full they will rent out the rooms for a slammin' deal. The pools there are so great, and so are the rooms! The rooms have a separate bedroom, family room, kitchen, and a huge bathroom. The pool has a beach entrance with sand, pool volleyball, swim deck with lounge chairs AND a lazy river. We loved it! It was like a vacation without having to go on vacation. We circled around the lazy river, over and over and over! The kids love the water, including Benson who never even cried once the entire day, it was amazing, and so relaxing. We didn't want it to end!
We bought Connor a puddle jumper swimmy a few years ago and loved it. So I went and bought Sadie one thinking she was still a little small for it but thought we'd give it a try. To our amazement she wasn't, she was a total pro at it! She'd float on her back, roll to her tummy, and pretend to tip over sideways and say "whoa, whoa" with a big smile on her face!
We didn't want to leave our little piece of paradise, but all good things must end. We want to go back, so we decided to do it a little more regularly.
