Student of the Month

I got a call from Connor's school to let me know Connor was chosen to be Student of the Month (for January)! Yahoo! The next morning we snuck over to his school for the assembly to surprise him. Mrs. Moore had the sweetest things to say about Connor! I wish we had recorded it. But we do remember a few things :):

She said he is responsible and always gets his work done on time. She can always count on him for anything she needs. He is very kind and extremely courteous to his classmates. Although he may be shy, she knows that he will turn into a young man who will do great things.

Mrs. Moore is the best teacher! We got so lucky to have her as his kindergarten teacher. This year he has already been Purple Star 11 times (3 times in 1 week!). She asked Connor at the beginning of the year what nickname he wanted; he told her Con-man. And it has totally stuck.

Connor will do great things! He is a pretty awesome kid!!! How did we get so lucky! He is simply the best!!!!
