Ryan's sister Stephanie and brother in law Adam were in town the weekend we moved for their anniversary! They were so sweet to come over for a few hours and helped us clean and pack. They were such life-savers. They bought a timeshare here in LV and they get it every other year around Christmas time. We didn't get to see their new timeshare but we heard it's a beautiful 7 star condo.
Our original close date on the house was late May. So Ryan's parents book flights to come out in the middle of June to see our new house. We never would have imagined that there wouldn't be a house yet! How, sad is that?! His parents flew out to see the house only to stay at his grandparents and not even see the house but only for a few minutes while the realtor let us in. We did manage to still have some fun though. We checked out Hoover Dam, shopped, visited the temple, played with grandma and grandpa, visited with Marianne and Aaron, played at some parks and showed them around Las Vegas. And, oh yes, the kicker; no sooner did Ryan drop his parents off at the airport and drove away that the realtor called and said..."I have your keys!!!" They are coming back next weekend, we are excited that we will have a place for them to stay this time.
